My daughter had her hair done by Kiersten and was very happy with both the service and the final result. Based on that experience, I decided to switch salons and scheduled a balayage and haircut with Madison. The haircut, balayage, and styling were completed in approximately 70 minutes. While I initially trusted the process, I left feeling rushed. I was not shown the back of my hair with a hand mirror, nor was I asked for feedback on the final result before checking out. After getting home, I noticed that the color did not resemble the honey-blonde balayage with subtle face-framing highlights that I had requested and shown in my inspiration photo. Instead, my hair appeared brassy and golden with larger, more noticeable sections of color than expected. I contacted the salon, provided photos, and requested either a partial refund or the opportunity to have the color corrected by a different stylist. My refund request was declined, and while Madison offered to perform the color correction herself, I respectfully declined because I no longer felt confident in her ability to achieve the result I was seeking. My recommendation to future clients is to ask to see a color swatch or sample during your consultation and to request a hand mirror to view the back of your hair before leaving the salon to ensure you are satisfied with the final result.
